Love or Hate event:
I wasn't sure how much I was going to enjoy the Love or Hate event, mainly because I don't like collecting items from special monsters (Rampaging bull, zombies, etc..), but I didn't mind this one so much. Why? There are tons of those Love Thiefs around! Unlike the rampaging bull, these spawn like crazy and run around in flocks. Don't believe me? Check the picture!
I spent maybe 25 minutes looking for the thieves along with the other monster, and I believe that I ended up

What to do with the hearts:
I haven't decided if I'm going to trade them in or not. You can trade the hearts, and so the hearts can be sold.
But, the entire box thing seems like fun, although, I'll probably just sell the boxes, so maybe it won't matter, haha.
Saphyryan:
The Saphyryan looks really nice. It's actually pretty big! As far as I know, these don't spawn very often, and about half the time, they drop nothing! The first one I killed gave me (Monster Ball (C) 2x) and well as (Ball of Crown (35) 2x). Then the next few dropped nothing.
And there are TONS of people hunting these. I was flying through spots with 2 or 3 people camped, or actively searching. It was hectic!
So I'm not sure how much I'm going to try hunting these, but I figure since it's the weekend, I should give it a shot.

DeleteI've been trying to hunt these bastards and the first day I already knew the perfect spots to hunt them ^^ They quite spawn at the same spots for some days if you guys hadn't noticed yet. :)
ReplyDeleteIn one week I found like 220 love thieves (180 really hunted with the intention to collect hearts) but only 12 saphyryans. :(
I held by what I found from it till 8 saphyryans but then I forgot to update my notes. ><
Anyway; I REALLY do enjoy this event since it isn't the hardest one and it is the first event where the quest items prices almost don't go under the 100K :P
But I'm saving my hearts ^^ You never know what's in your Angel/Demon Box D:
And yeah the drop rate of these thieves is 100% ;)

ReplyDeleteThere's a few unchecked spots that pile up to 10-15 love thieves, which is pretty fun to find.
Also near the Giant Carrierbomb, there's a spawn location where they can't be hit, so they get stuck near the ceiling and just stay there. xD
I really want to write a longer piece, so hopefully school will let me have some time. :)
GoR is THE place to hunt those thieves together with the Transformer-Nuttywheel-Knights route. <:
ReplyDeleteGor because they spawn everywhere and it's really easy to fly in circles and just land by every Thief.
The Route because it's a superb route which may get you some saphyryrans as well ^^
And I can't wait for more news :)
i found a place where it was hundreds of saphyryans and tons of love thiefs i hunted about 100 saphyryan in that event and i got 2 gold boxes, 2 roanins magic leveling boxes and hundreds of those monster balls... :D
