GM Kooro's Colosseum Challenge event and update!

I was really hoping to see an event had nothing to do with FlyFF World Championship, but I guess that would be too much, haha. I really haven't considered doing anything from the FWC events, and I'm sure 95% of other FlyFF players feel the same way.

The players did get a long EXP event (although probably too long) and I am definitely making use of the FLY, FOR, FUN, FWC, 2011 cards. I even tried leveling at the Asuras while I farmed for them (bad idea).

Merc and I were destroying those Azuras. :)

Even though these events are going on, I'm still itching for just a simple event, like say, a Mocomochi hunt. Tanuki could use the couple rings too; they're only priced at about 20M right now, and I can only assume they'll go up.

So even though I'm at 120 and 99.99%, I still haven't gone to master. I think I'm going to hang out here for a while and find some more people to help.

I tanked for a guildie while I was finishing up my daily logins. Even though he brought the mercenary along to be his leech, I snatched her and got a pupil. She's awesome! Most of my pupils don't even bother talking to me, and then they quit playing after about 2 days. It's good to see that she's an exception.

FWC card and rain events!

With the past 2 months of constant EXP bonuses, the last few weeks have definitely seemed a little slow! I guess they expected this and packed some amps in the Play for Rewards event.

A few days ago, I received my 3x R Amps in my mail, and I was so eager to use them. I had already crawled up to 117, and I only needed a few more levels until I became a master. Last time when I was training with HipHopBarbie, I was at the Vile Thorns in Traesia, so I thought that'd be a good place to start.

Traesia is awesome.
The Vile Thorns are actually a little frustrating! I feel like the Captain Azuras have a lot lower block rate then these guys. After I leveled once, I decided to move on to the Blackweb Shades.

This was the last thing I killed before I got 120 and 99.99%!
These guys weren't too bad. The Blackweb Shade has a double strike, as well as a pretty high block rate.

The drop rate for the event cards was abysmal though. I seem to have this problem in Coral Island too. Not only do no quest items drop in Traesia, but any event items seem to drop rarely here too. I must have trained in there for about 10 hours, and I didn't get much more than a handful of cards.

Oh well, the EXP was pretty amazing! It did feel really slow. I can't imagine doing this in the tower or Volcane dungeon with no EXP boosts. That's really hardcore!

Now I'm going to relax for a while before I go to master. I think I'll at least wait until my R amps run out. I don't like using them too much, haha.

A quick update

Hello there!

A little update: as of yesterday, the 'Summer of EXP' event ended. I can't even begin to tell you how much longer leveling feels right now.

After all the leveled was done, my characters:

Skooma (BP) - 117
MoonSugar (Bow Jester) - 78
Antille (RM) - 89
Hawke (Yoyo Jester) - 72

were the only ones who leveled.

I know I haven't introduced either of my Jesters, but that time will come soon!

I spent the last few days of the EXP event leveling Hawke, trying to get as much done before the event was over, and I happened to run into a Seraph while I was training. The buffs were AMAZING.

So awesome.
The buff time is so crazy! I was pretty happy when my pure STR BP got a 9 minute buff with some INT vagrant gear, but 34 minutes?! I'm not even close, haha.

Doing some 'leet' damage! (Sorry, I couldn't resist..)

I used the monsters in the Saint Morning dungeon for leveling from 58-67. Although when I say monsters, I mean 90% Mushillizer and 10% Cardpuppets. The Mushillizer (during the 2.5x event) gave me about 6-9% EXP per kill, through most of those levels! With his really fast spawn time, leveling up that much didn't take more than a few hours.

Last week, the coolest thing happened. I logged into S2 to finish off the last bit of my daily logins and I bumped into someone named MercOfDoom:

yesssss. :) (Merc is a total beast, too.)
I was genuinely suprised when they mentioned my blog! No one's ever said anything about it in-game, or even know that I had a blog, so this was an especially cool experience. Definitely made my day, haha.

Skooma, AnnIe, and MercOfDoom.

Then my friend AnnIe showed up, and we all chatted for a bit. It's really a nice change of pace going from the mid-levels (60-90) or so, where sometimes people you meet may never log in again, to the higher levels where there's lots of people you recognize that are on. It makes the game so much more enjoyable.

I'm excited to see what kind of events we may get soon!
